Whether you cooked or treated yourself to dining out with turkey, duck or ham, I hope all enjoyed their Thanksgiving Day across the nation.

Just having lunch at home with a sunny view through a window made me grateful that I could have a slow lunch. Sunshine is important to feel connected to the natural world. Sitting in a workplace cafeteria without natural light is not good enough.
Fall colours are thrilling yet make me sad that they will be around a little while then make way for colder weather.

Holiday-taking a day off of routine and just being.

Canadian Thanksgiving is on Monday, October 10 this year. Visitors to Canada may only see malls in tourism designated areas open for some hours but most stores will not be open on Monday.

The weather looks promising, with a high around 17C in Southern Ontario and little chance of rain. The changes in leaf colours ave been underway for over a week due to warm days but cool nights. Bring good walking shoes with you-many leaves are on the ground and they can be damp too.
