I don't think it's a good deal for Canada. Harper kept the country at bay, no transparency at all, and with him the devil is always in the small print. His 9 years of promising a transparent government, gave us a secretive almost dictatorship government. His secrecy has always meant a bad time for Canada, and I don't think this is any different, plus the fact that he may not even have the mandate, the legal right to make any deal during an election. Parliament was dissolved weeks ago so his deal will probably end up in the Supreme Court and another loss for him. Think we are hitting close to 50 losses for him.
I have been listening to different sources all day long and while the Dairy farmers may have gotten off easy, the Auto sector doesn't appear to be so lucky.
All countries now have to ratify it and this may all be unravelled, not just by Canadas election, but other countries have upcoming elections as well, and throw in the US Congress and this deal maybe be dead before the ink dries.
