Tongue-controlled computer mouse

Postby mousepad on Wed Jul 13, 2016 8:01 pm

An Ontario teen has won a $2,000 science prize for creating and building a computer mouse that is controlled by the tongue. Emma Mogus, 17, from Oakville, built the TiC, or Tongue-Interface-Communication. There are five buttons inside a mouthguard-type device, which is connected to a computer. Each button controls a different mouse direction.

We don't seem to give teens enough credit as we keep hearing about the trouble makers and little on the brilliant ones that are trying to make a difference in the world and help others. This young lady has a great career ahead of her and make peoples lives much easier despite an illness.
