Let The Music Do The Talking

Post by dreamon » Tue Sep 16, 2008 2:53 pm

What are you listening to right now? What type of music do you like to listen to?

The universe is big It's vast and complicated and ridiculous and sometimes, very rarely
impossible things just happen and we call them miracles

Six Days (the Remix) from The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift soundtrack is playing. Insightful lyrics and chorus impressed me from the movie.

Usually the whistle on a kettle signifying that boiling water is ready for tea, soup or noodles is the most welcome music to my ears. :D
Frozen? Not I. Love hot drinks and ice rinks.

You Can't Stop Rock and Roll by Twisted Sister. Some good rock by the band made the 1980s lively. Ever read their album liner notes? The lead singer put in a credit for Vidal Sasson hair care products.

The group, Pink Martini, has a light CD called Hang On Little Tomato. Bit retro or bit bouncy, there are songs for swaying or tapping toes to.

I Want to Be Somebody-WASP. Someone is listening to a favourite song from the past and I recognized it. It would make a good car wash tune.

Political parody videos, given the interest in the U.S. presidential campaign on both sides of the U.S./Canada border. There are adept videomakers with tunes, lyrics and images to compile videos with a currency of the times.
