Oy! The new weekend stress reliever in Japan is smashing roof tiles by hand. If you break all of the tiles in your stack, you get a reward. Option to get dressed in martial arts attire is available. How about some tile smashing?
These tiles, which are made out of hardened clay, are often used by martial artists as a means to showcase their skill, strength and overall power.

At the Kawarana, customers are allowed to do their own “kawara smash”, not just to show off their martial arts skills (if there are any), but also to relieve some stress.

Marie Kondo's books on decluttering now include a manga version to help reach younger readers on finding joy in their belongings. The column writer noticed that three young males made some cleaning changes after reading her copy of the book. This item may be useful to gift to young teens and adults in your lives.
Kondo's message that you should keep only things that "spark joy" is now in manga form, with a love story as a backdrop. Her new book, "The Life-Changing Manga of Tidying Up" (Ten Speed Press), features the work of artist Yuko Uramoto and seems designed to attract a younger set — including teenage boys — many of whom probably missed out on her earlier volumes.

And she may be on target.

Nine things to help you make the year seem fresh for you:

If the price of movers doesn't scare you into managing too much stuff currently in your residence, what would motivate you
to sort/regift/recycle/bin or pay to get rid of that extra stuff? Do you have a financial need to fund a goal of yours (school for you
or someone you know, trip, repairs, move)--think garage sale.
