I'll have to ask the participants in this discussion to please provide some quotes of racist statements made by Mr. Trump, because I wasn't aware that Mr. Trump had made racist statements. I admit that I have not had the time to follow all aspects of Mr. Trump's public statements, so I guess I have missed many things.

I did read that he had made statements about deporting certain people, but I thought he identified those people he wanted to deport as people that were in the United States illegally. I missed it if he had classified any of those people by race and because of their race alone they would be deported.

Or was there something else he discussed in a negative way that related to race?

This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his comments and behavior.

I could not find the video, but I did see it on my local nightly news and he did egg on the supporters by saying over and over again, get him out, get him out. He was talking about the 12 year old cerebral palsy victim. During the time Trump kept repeating that, his supporters were pushing/kicking the mother and child. ... ally-22047

First of all, THANK YOU, Dreamon, for providing those links. The evidence is so clear. How can anyone not see what he ------- has been about?

Here's another article, highlighting how he condones beating up protesters. ... ite-house/

He also said he wants to "open libel laws" to make it easier to sue the press. Scary for something called "Freedom of the Press." ... aws-219866

NOW, Speak-Ez, are you beginning to see why I - and many others - find it horrific that he was elected?

Ivanka Trump's company has established separate social media channels in order to be separate from Ivanka Trump's personal social media changes. The separation of brand from the person:
Now that Donald Trump is set to become America’s 45th president, Ivanka Trump’s team announced today that its founder intends to use her new platform as a first-daughter to engage in political advocacy.

“Our company’s mission is not political — it never was and it never will be — however, Ivanka, personally, has an increased opportunity to advocate for women and be a positive force for change,” the team wrote in a post on the Ivanka Trump website. “As a private citizen, with full awareness of her heightened visibility, she will broaden her efforts to take a stance on issues of critical importance to American women and families.”

The post continued: “Meanwhile, our team will continue working to inspire and empower women to create the lives they want to live through solution-oriented product and inspiring content on and across social media.” ... mp-278951/

There was much uproar online after Ms. Trump's appearance on a recent edition of 60 Minutes when it became known through a media release that her brand's bracelet was $10000. The situation added fuel to the public concern that Ms. Trump was advancing business interests in a political forum despite her own stance of avoiding political commentary. In addition, she was present at the meeting her father held to visit with Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe. A meeting that had only photos by the Japanese delegation, which released them to the media. Optics and all that. ... mp-278951/
