.

Seems this Ryder Cup was a bit on the dramatic side. The European Team managed to wrest the trophy away from the United States.

Although he's only one member of a team I suppose I'll fall into the normal style of those that take note of a golf tournament where Mr. Woods might be playing and point out that Mr. Woods appeared to get his game back on track on the last day. Same is apparently being written about Mr. Mickelson, as well.

This was an interesting Ryder Cup. No easy feat for the European Team to win this one. Anyway, others wrote many fine things that will be much better reading than what I post here.

Links, right? (Beautiful pun for this post, eh?)

Landing page for Ryder Cup 2010 is here: http://www.rydercup.com/2010/europe/

News from the Ryder Cup 2010 site: http://www.rydercup.com/2010/europe/new ... e-line.cfm

Finally, a link for a story about some trouble of some kind that some fans had, or thought they had. I suppose if you are "furious" you must think you have a problem, right?

I am more pleased to see Phil Mickleson is back to good enough health to golf like he did. After all he has been suffering from a bit of TP & that is a bit touchy. True Tiger Woods is getting over all the call gals he has forked out $1,500.00 for each day of sort of relaxing, but then he could still be getting the same women & it was only his incident of backing into a fire hydrant, to his wife about to take a #2 iron to him, so a bit of a shake up MENTALLY for Woods.

The European Team definately earned the winnings on this one & good to see some golfers we have never seen in action before.

Yes, I'm afraid we won't be seeing Seve at a 19th Hole down here anymore, but if they have any courses up there then there will probably be a 19th Hole up there, as well. Of course, just like down here Seve would only be at a table for the élite.

I'm sure he will find a course more beautiful than Pebble Beach among the clouds. One fit for the new
elite group he has joined.

PEDRENA, Spain - Nick Faldo, Jose Maria Olazabal, Colin Montgomerie and Sam Torrance are among the luminaries who will attend the funeral of Seve Ballesteros in the small Spanish fishing village of Pedrena on Wednesday.

The funeral will be at the church of San Pedro de Pedrena, which is expected to be full. Ballesteros' ashes will be carried a few hundred metres from his home up the sloping road to the town parish. Big screens will be set up outside the ceremony for his fans.

Another major change for Tiger. This time he fired his long time caddie. No one saw that coming and no visible reason to fire him. This has many wondering what Tiger is up to with all of the changes he has been making.

More bad news for Tiger at the Bridgestone Invitational. He is going downhill really fast and can't seem
to dig his way out of the massive hole his game is in.

Well, if the former top golfer is having a year of adjustments, then why are we not hearing about the new golfers entering pro competition or more about the Japanese wonder Ryo Ishikawa? Then there are the mainstays of pro golf-surely a couple of them are showing really good tournament plays or rankings??

What about the women's golf pool? Someone must be shining this year.
Old salt on board.
