This French-made cooking food processor has been sold in France, Italy and Spain. It sounds like a dream machine: it chops and cooks. There are said to be 1 million combinations of cooking recipes that come with the unit.

I have not been able to find this appliance on the Moulinex Canada site. However, today an Internet search result shows that in Australia and the United Kingdom, Cuisine Companion is sold under the Tefal brand name as of this year. What?
The Australian website uses the same videos as on the French site except for the English text. https://www.cuisinecompanion.com.au/
An Australian retailer launching the device has its own video: http://www.harveynorman.com.au/tefal-cuisine-companion
A UK paper had one of its cooking experts put the device through different recipe efforts: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/artic ... ng-up.html
The price of a unit is $699 pounds. In Canadian dollars, that would be about $1409.88.
Where are the USA and Canadian distributors? T-fal does not list the Cuisine Companion on its North American sites.
Maybe it's time to suggest that a family member go on holiday in Europe and obtain one of them.

Re: Moulinex Cuisine Companion
I found out that a blogger sponsored to go to a launch event in Sydney Australia found out the machines cost $1699 Australian.
He did receive a unit after the launch to use. Some reviewers have mixed product reviews and have commented the product has to be
paid for and ordered, then it's shipped to the customers. So it's not in stores?
I still don't understand why the Moulinex product is being sold under a different brand name in the UK and Australia. Answers, please!
