Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year

Postby deja vu on Thu Dec 15, 2016 8:00 am

Tis the season once again. A time to reflect and enjoy. This year like no other needs Peace On Earth, and good will to all. This article and video is a good way to get back to that thought. West Jet Airlines usually surprises flyers every December, this time they added a much needed twist to their kindness. Helping Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada remember the joy amid their tremendous loss from a devastating forest fire that changed their lives in May of this year. Bringing smiles to the faces of all ages, shows us the season can bring people together.

A reminder to show kindness to others, time to put away differences and remember what is REALLY important in life.

NO MATTER WHAT - Please have a safe and Happy New Year, and above all please DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!

It is not worth your life or hurting/killing someone else because you were determined to drive instead of being responsible. Take away the keys to prevent another from drinking and driving. They may not like it, but remember the alternative is devastating. Doing nothing is just as bad as you being behind the wheel if your friend/family member drives drunk.

Take a bus/cab or have a designated driver and arrive home safely, and wake up safe and sound in your own bed knowing you did not do any damage and had fun instead.

The holiday season is upon us, and many pet parents plan to include their furry companions in the festivities. As you gear up for the holidays, it is important to try to keep your pet's eating and exercise habits as close to their normal routine as possible. Also, please be sure to steer pets clear of the following unhealthy treats, toxic plants and dangerous decorations.

This might fit the bill for a rocking Christmas especially for the guys - Mariah! and company. Always a good way to start the season off.

Thanks to Norad, the world is keeping an eye to the sky for Santa and his Reindeer. Right now they are over Australia.

New Years is almost upon the world. Please be safe and responsible.

Do not drink and drive. With the number of countries legalizing Marijauna, please don't do any drugs and drive. All in your vehicle and those you share the road with want to make it home safely.

A treat before the New Year takes hold and we have 12 months before we enjoy the holidays once more. Edeka, is a supermarket in Germany and their staff went above the call of duty to have some fun.
